Let's get it on or 1000 things to do on the night shift
Bruce Springsteen is exhorting me to step away from the guac and turn up my TV. By god, why shouldn't I? I'm a man that loves... wait, got that backwards. Screw you Boss, I'm eating my dip, maybe I'll mix some guac with some ranch. Only Hidden Valley of course.
So I'm here on the first night shift of the rest of my life. I have 28+31+12 days left of actually working in the finest military on earth. That's 71 days so really only 35 night shifts to go. It isn't the middle tasks I mind, that only take 3 hours to do but require me to be here all night just in case. I'm down with just in case. It's the imposition on my personal life. You see I enjoyed spending time with my girlfriend. I even liked rugby practice. Being a part of society was nice.
Now I'll be an outcast. A mortal vampire, allergic to light, drinking at 6 am causes that my night time, laughing at the suckers stuck in traffic as I travel against the streams of normalcy. Dammit I can't party normal, I can't work out normal, my days of a fkd, 70 days of circadian hell.
Ok, enough about me. I vow to spend these last few days getting my life together or just sharing personal insights from here in the darkness (e.g. Neil Cavuto has an enormous head). Or something like that. I don't know. I had too many Scoops and dip. My tummy hurts. Go cards.
